The Geophysical Society of Houston is the largest Section of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists. To learn more about the GSH, click on the links below.

BYLAWS: The Society is a section of the Society of Exploration Geophysicists and is therefore subject to the Constitution and Bylaws of that Society.

COMMITTEES: Volunteers chair the various committees that organize and direct the GSH functions throughout the year.

HISTORY: A timeline of events and snapshot of the founders and members throughout the years since inception in 1947.

MEMBERSHIP: Anyone with an interest in geophysics is invited to join the GSH. Annual dues are $25, due before July 1 annually. Students are encouraged to join at the special dues rate of $12 per year.

OFFICERS: are elected each May and take office the following July.
